  • Oracle/MySQL
    MySQL® is the world's most popular open-source database, enriched by usage and feedback from demanding users worldwide. MySQL is now part of Oracle Corporation. Schooner has commercial source code licenses to MySQL and its standard storage engine, InnoDB, to which we apply our unique high-availability enhancements, optimizations, and performance tuning. Schooner works closely with Oracle to ensure that SchoonerSQL is 100% API- and schema-compatible with Oracle MySQL.

    SkySQL AB is the alternative source for software, services and support for the MySQL database and related technologies. Founded by former executives, personnel, and investors of MySQL AB, the company is committed to furthering the future development of MySQL database technologies, while delivering cost-effective database solutions and exceptional customer service. Server and Flash Memory Suppliers:


SchoonerSQL doesn't care what storage you use — it's great with hard drives, a SAN, or flash drives. SchoonerSQL does have unique optimizations to exploit flash memory to the fullest, which is often the best way for extreme vertical scaling (getting more from each of your servers). Schooner Membrain, on the other hand, does require flash memory. Each of our products works with any flash drive (learn more about supported platforms) but user feedback coupled with our own extensive testing leads us to recommend these for the most demanding workloads:
